Sound Healing with Denae Richards
In this Sound Meditation allow yourself to be immersed in the soothing frequencies of sound with a variety of healing instruments including gongs, quartz crystal & Tibetan singing bowls. Give your mind the chance to slow and allow your body to melt into relaxation. In this deep state, stress hormones decrease, allowing the immune system to function more efficiently. Through sound, the two hemispheres of your brain become more balanced. Your body releases natural opiates giving your whole system a chance to heal & rejuvenate. The journey is yours to explore in your own way!
No experience necessary. No yoga involved, although there will be mild breathing exercises. Wear comfortable clothing as you will be lying down most of the time.

Shamanic Journeying with Mary Warejcka
Dream a little while you're awake.
Drawn from shamanic practices around the world and modern sensibilities, the session will help us do a little spiritual cleaning using a little drumming, meditation and essential oils. We will also work with fierce Kali energy – a Hindu Goddess who helps us let go of those things we no longer need, to find new power within. Blue Tansy and other oils will be on hand to help us let go and dream a little about a new direction in life.
Facilitator: Mary has trained with several shamanic practitioners and other spiritual types, she is a Usui Reiki Master (via Jennifer Walz) and a Shamanic Reiki Master (via Llyn Roberts), she's earned a master's of theological studies from Brite Divinity in Ft. Worth and has led classes and offered individual shamanic sessions since 2002.
4:45 pm - 5:45pm
Restorative and Thai Combo
with Teresa Bybee
Polish off your FDOY festivities with a little yoga R&R. We will get cozy with plenty of props in some relaxing Restorative poses while Teresa sooths those sore, achy muscles with a little Thai yoga love. The ancient practice of Thai is rooted in nurturing friends and family through this bodywork modality, which includes gentle stretching, soft tissue release, and trigger point manipulation. Above all, it is designed to release stress from the physical body while creating a connection through human touch. Joining Thai with Restorative practice is a truly rewarding and restful experience.
**We have a wide compliment of props, including yoga blankets, blocks and mats, but you are welcome to bring your own, to ensure we have enough for everyone.
